Hi! I’m Ezzy.
Having always felt drawn to the dark of the night sky, I fell in love with space at the age of 7, when on a family trip to Cornwall I looked up and saw the Milky Way for the first time.
This eventually led to me obtaining my PhD from Cardiff University, but I soon realised my true passion was to tell other people about the wonders of the Universe surrounding us and so began a career in science journalism, specialising in all thing space.
Since 2013, I have worked for Sky at Night Magazine, where I am currently the features editor. I also regularly undertake freelance science writing for other publications.
I’ve always been a keen public speaker, and have done much science outreach. In 2012, I was part of the BBC’s first Expert Women class. Since then I have taken part in over 500 TV radio interviews with the BBC, Al Jezera, CBS and others.
